New glasses | blogmas day 12

A few weekends ago I finally admitted to myself that I need new glasses and I need to wear them far more often, the problem is I don’t suit glasses and I can’t have contacts. For the eye appointment and glasses choosing last weekend I had to draft in my mum as there was no way I could chose glasses all by myself. I got two pairs in the specsavers 2 for one offer. On the left are juniper and the right clarissa.

As you can see I went for both wide frames as otherwise I find having the outline of glasses too annoying and interferes with my vision too much.

The first pair are the widest, I feel the bigger the glasses the smaller my nose will look. The juniper ones have a really dark purple that almost looks black rim and the arms are red.

These are the clarissa frames which are more sensible professional looking glasses as they are plain black withe the odd bit of tortoise shell pattern. I really should stop taking blog photos at the end of a long day, looking very weather worn here.

I had a wonderful experience with all of them at specsavers, they where very kind and put me at ease which is always something i appreciate while having anxiety ( the reason i put off going for so long).

OOTN for drinks with the girlies

After my (well deserved) rant in my last post I want to also share my outfit and face Of the night in true blog fashion.

I bought my high necked collar crop top in the boohoo sale and I love it! I teamed it with a plain black skater skirt, I also had black tights on but eventually had to take them off and put them in my bag when I got too hot.
The necklace was a gift about 3 or 4 years ago from a friend.
For my face I skipped eyeshadow and just did my normal black wings, currently loving the revlon colourstay liquid liner and added a glossy red lipstick to add some colour and drama to my look.
And luckily for the wouldn’t-stop-grabbing-me-weirdo I kicked in the groin I chose to wear my flat black pumps.

Get in loser we’re going shopping!

I got sent a couple of birthday discount emails a while back and forgot to use them completely until the other day when I got bored from revising and ended up online shopping, this is a real issue for me and my student loan!
Amongst a couple of mundane items such as a hoody and crop top I bought four beautiful dresses which I will share with you guys.

You can tell I like collared dresses and skater dresses…
The pink collared dress is from boohoo and if I’m right cost about £12
The other black and white collared dress is from asos and cost £19
The black skater dress with mesh panels is also from asos and cost £24
The final dress is cream with a zip that goes all the way up the front of the dress and is from primark and cost £15
I’d say that these dresses, for the quality they are, are very bargainous which makes me love them even more!
